PROCESS

Based on the brief, we look for alternatives of basic design and use of the syringe, taking into account the observations made by us and the user. Finally we clarify the main points on which base the project in general:

 

Compressible syringe

  • Basic and simple packaging of medicine together

  • Cheap production

  • Vision for a low-resource environment

  • Energy saving

  • Easy handling of waste

All items to be covered should follow the health and WHO standards.

The next step would be a volumetric exploration in order to obtain the dimensions to save and satisfy the material standards in the final product. Our inspiration was based on origami as a useful tool for saving space and reducing raw materials and WWII morphie syringe.

LAYOUT

In our models we look for the basic shape of the syringe inserted into our compressive idea, maintaining the same language to familiarize the principles of the object.
